Canadian hip hop pioneer Dan-e-o pays homage to his groundbreaking debut of "Dear Hip Hop"with a new set of visuals for "20 Years Later." Dan-e-o launched his career in the early 90's when his first single "Dear Hip Hop" was featured on Beat Factory/EMI's, RapEssentials Volume One. The single and video broke new ground for Canadian hip hop as a whole and has paved the way for countless Canadian emcee's to follow in Dan-e-o's footsteps. The latest XCON directed video,"20 Years Later" revisits the locations from Dan-e-o's 1996 debut video, and follows the emcee along with Fraction & Cable as they critique the current state of hip hop, reminisce on the highs and lows of the genre and above all else, prove that real emcees never stop perfecting their craft.
